Role

The Analyst Developer, CRM and Channels, will be responsible for the on-going support and continuous development of business solutions supporting CRM and Channels, and their underlying application technology stacks, reporting to the Delivery Manager, CRM and Channels. The right candidate will deliver solutions which are fully aligned with the organisation’s enterprise architecture and roadmaps, are fit for purpose from an information security management perspective, and meet delivery, quality and cost requirements and expectations

Responsibilities

  • To gain a full understanding of the business applications and solutions supported and developed by the CRM and Chan-nels Delivery Team
  • To assist in delivering an on-going programme of solutions design and delivery work to support the goals, objectives and business change agendas of those business functions supported
  • To make a full contribution throughout the life-cycle of solutions supported, from design through build, test and transi-tion into operational running, as well as the support of live applications
  • To design, document and code application components for solutions in scope, including but not limited to: database structures and dataflow, business logic and functionality, presentation layer and User Interface, integration and work-flow, web services, messaging and testing, working with architects and other Delivery Team members
  • To design and build solutions which are fully aligned with the organisation’s enterprise architecture and roadmaps, are fit for purpose from an information security management perspective, and meet delivery, quality and cost require-ments and expectations
  • To translate high level business requirements and functional specifications for business solutions into detailed technical designs and specifications, which meet both functional and non-functional requirements

My client is one of the biggest end users in the public/ government sector, providing a quality service mainly within the London district.

Key skills

  • 2+years in a CRM development/Technical Analyst role – at a minimum, an understanding how to develop dynamics entities/forms through the front end
  • Strong knowledge and experience of implementing MS Dynamics CRM 2011 and 2013
  • Knowledge of professional software development best practices for the full software development life cycle
  • Experience of working with 3rd party application developers and solutions providers
  • Experience of Agile development methodology and of working in Agile scrum teams
  • Desirable:
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) – in MS Dynamics CRM Applications and/or Customisation and Configuration and/or Extending and/or Installation and Deployment
  • Sound base knowledge of MS SQL Server, able to query Microsoft SQL Server
