Role

My client a market leader in managed services sector is recruiting for a Microsoft Dynamics AX Support Analyst to bolster the Dynamics support team. This role would include supporting internal users of the Dynamics AX business system through effective communication with internal users and 3rd party suppliers, small fixes and system maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the Dynamics support queue with an aim to align response times with team SLA’s and delivering a consistently high quality level of service.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of Dynamics AX - Finance modules.
  • Engage and communicate with internal & external resources and users to resolve issues.
  • Through diagnostics and validations identify user issues that require Dynamics support and request redirection of those that do not to the appropriate team.
  • Engage and communicate with internal & external resources and users to resolve technical issues.
  • Carry out additional duties as instructed and agreed by the Dynamics support manager.
  • Debug issues with configuration and code specific to Dynamics AX.
  • Provide fixes for specific code and submit for Testing/ QA / deployment
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication
  • Good presentation and demonstration skills
  • Ideally some understanding of ITIL processes
